Stupid is as stupid does!
Now it's been a while since my last post. To be honest, I have been home on vacation at the same time as we have added to the family. So has not been so active or for that matter exposed to the outside world to actually find something meaningful to write about. Even though this is also not about anything sensible, I couldn't resist writing about it.
It really doesn't get into my head how stupid some people seem to be Sometimes and there seems to be no limits. Sometimes idiocy pays a high price, it seems.
The other day it was reported that a man in central Trollhättan (in Sweden) had died after kicking in and breaking a window at a hotel. I can only wonder: How stupid can you be on a scale?
First of all, I think about how smart you are if you can bring yourself to kick into someone else's property like that seemingly at random? What's the point anyway?
Then I understand that a "normal" man in his 40s probably has zero knowledge of what happens when you break glass. It's not like you can cut yourself or something?
SPOILER! That's exactly what happened! To the extent that he seems to have cut open some artery. Definitely Femoralis if you want to be picky. That is, the artery in the leg. He had subsequently died of anemia.
His family (if any), friends (same argument again) and acquaintances are surely mourning his passing. Because of course it is very tragic that a man has died. I got that. But sometimes there is a point to Darwinism.
Imagine the average person and how stupid they are. Then weep knowing that half of humanity is more stupid than that.
When I told this story to my colleagues, one of them added that an acquaintance passed away when he was hit by a bus at the train station when he got off the horse-drawn carriage he had taken as a taxi from Oktoberfest.
Needless to say, this is also tragic. But it was still due to clumsiness and a little disfluency, more than idiocy.
On an other note: It is crystal clear that the Wagner leader's flight spontaneously combusted like that on the day 2 months after a military coup against Putin. Completely normal. Prove me wrong!
